Beacon reservation terms
A reservation records your interest in a proposed Milieu GeoTrace Beacon configuration. Please read these terms before reserving.
1. No payment or purchase today
Reservations are free and nonbinding. We do not collect payment, place a card hold, start a subscription or create an obligation to buy. A reservation does not guarantee inventory, a queue position, a production allocation or a locked price.
2. Proposed prices and configuration
All displayed amounts are planning prices in USD. Starter is proposed at $399 and Field Pack at $649. Ground-sensor add-ons are quoted per station. Aero aircraft quantity is to be confirmed separately. Hardware totals exclude tax, outbound shipping and optional recurring services. Beacon Sync is proposed at $60 per station per year, separately from hardware. Selecting Sync records interest only.
Beacon Hydro H100 is a proposed optional water and sediment temperature rod with a separate local logger. Its price is to be confirmed. It is not included in Starter or Field Pack prices. When selected, the displayed priced hardware subtotal excludes Hydro; selecting it records interest only. No Hydro price or free hardware offer is implied.
Beacon Gamma R100 is a proposed optional gamma-radiation monitor and spectrometer. Its price is to be confirmed and is not included in Starter or Field Pack. When Gamma is selected, the priced hardware subtotal excludes it. Selecting Gamma records interest, with $0 due today.
Beacon Aero is a proposed optional aerial survey expansion with RGB and LiDAR payload options. Its price is to be confirmed and is excluded from the priced hardware subtotal. Aircraft quantity and payload configuration will be agreed separately; selecting Aero does not reserve one aircraft for every Beacon station. It records nonbinding interest with $0 due today. Aero is not included in either base package.
The hydrogen fuel cell with expandable tank capacity and wind turbine kit are proposed optional power expansions for both packages, with prices to be confirmed. Selecting them records nonbinding interest with $0 due today. Their costs are excluded from the priced hardware subtotal; neither is included in a base package. Tank capacity, fuel supply and the final installation will be agreed before purchase.
The final product, accessories, specifications, price and available destinations may change. The concept imagery is illustrative and shows the Milieu GeoTrace Beacon product line with optional expansion modules, including the Hydro rod and logger, Gamma monitor, Aero and imaging payloads, solar panel, hydrogen fuel cell with expandable tank capacity, and wind turbine. Package contents are listed separately in the configurator. Final housing, dimensions, sensor placement and connections may change. Solar power and any user-supplied phone are separate from the base package. Final purchase terms will be presented for approval before any payment.
3. Development and delivery
Beacon is in development. Hardware, firmware, software, performance and production costs remain subject to prototyping and validation. No shipping date has been announced. Development targets measured from a funded start are not a delivery guarantee. The product may be delayed, changed or discontinued.
Hydro sensor count, depth spacing, accuracy, immersion limits and logging interval remain unconfirmed. Its connection to the Beacon workflow is planned and requires validation. Illustrations do not confirm a production specification or a working live integration.
Gamma detector selection, sensitivity, energy range, calibrated dose response, environmental protection, logging performance and Beacon compatibility require validation. No radiation measurement performance or isotope-identification capability is guaranteed by a reservation.
Aero aircraft selection, payloads, flight performance, mapping accuracy and data integration remain subject to engineering and field validation. No shipping date, mapping certification or government approval is implied by an Aero reservation.
Hydrogen power is intended to extend deployments where sunlight is limited, subject to fuel supply and validated system performance. Runtime, tank capacity, cold-start capability, temperature limits and Beacon integration are unconfirmed. Wind generation depends on site conditions; turbine output, wind and icing limits, mounting and electrical compatibility require validation. No continuous-runtime or all-weather performance is guaranteed.
4. Contact and confirmation
Provide accurate contact information. Milieu may use it to follow up about your reservation, ask about your intended deployment and present a future purchase invitation. Your reservation is recorded only after the website displays a confirmation reference. A confirmation email is not sent automatically.
5. Managing or canceling
Save the private management link in your receipt. Anyone with that link can view the configuration or cancel the reservation, so keep it private. You can cancel without charge through Manage reservation. Cancellation removes the contact details from the active reservation record. To change a configuration, cancel it and make a new reservation.
6. Intended use
Beacon is intended for observation, comparison, education and field context. Proposed measurements are not certified environmental reports or a substitute for professional survey instruments and expert interpretation. Beacon does not establish mineral deposits, heat flow or geothermal reservoir temperature.
Hydro is intended to record temperatures at multiple depths. It does not directly measure pH, conductivity, water level, water safety or seepage rate. The USGS TROD research is a reference for the temperature-profiling approach, not a claim of USGS affiliation, endorsement or licensing of Beacon Hydro H100.
Gamma is intended for gamma-radiation observation and research. It is not a certified personal dosimeter, radiation-safety instrument, radon monitor, neutron detector or alpha/beta contamination survey meter. Spectral patterns do not by themselves establish mineral concentrations, deposits or material safety.
