Your reservation information

This notice covers the GeoTrace Beacon reservation website operated for Milieunomics Institute.

What the form collects

Your name, email, country or region, selected package, station quantity, optional add-ons and Sync interest are saved when you submit a reservation. Organization and fieldwork notes are optional. We also record the time, terms acknowledgment, reservation status and a secure reference for the private receipt link.

No payment card, shipping address or field sensor data is requested by this website. Avoid putting sensitive information in the optional notes.

How it is used

The information is used to record and manage reservations, understand intended deployments, plan product demand and contact you about your reservation or a future purchase invitation. It is not used to enroll you in an unrelated marketing list.

Who can access it

The site owner can access reservation records for these purposes. Hosting infrastructure stores and processes them on the site’s behalf. There is no public directory of customer names, emails or reservations. External Milieu and Substack links lead to sites with their own privacy practices.

Keeping your receipt private

Your receipt contains a private link that can display the reserved configuration and cancel it. It does not display your name or email. Keep the link secure; anyone who has it can manage that reservation. The plain-text receipt download is saved on your own device.

Canceling and removing contact details

Use the private link in your receipt or Manage reservation to cancel. Cancellation removes your name, email, organization, country and notes from the active reservation record. An anonymized record of the configuration and cancellation is retained for demand and operational records. Hosting backups and security logs may be retained separately under the hosting provider’s practices.

Security and site operation

The website uses encrypted HTTPS connections. A derived request fingerprint and submission timing help limit automated abuse; the reservation record does not store a raw IP address. Hosting services may maintain their own security and access logs. This storefront does not add advertising trackers or analytics cookies.
